Memogate of Mansoor Ijaz and Lessons for India

A Memo purported to be written by Mr.Mansoor Ijaz on the instructions of Pakistan’s Ambassador to USA and delivered to General Mullen has already claimed the head of the ambassador.What is intriguing in the whole affair is the denial by both the principal actors about their own role and both trying to prove their own versions by showing their Blackberry phone records( controlled from Canada by RIM).Now if according to Mansoor Ijaz the memo was prepared immediately after the Osama operation in Abbotobad and fall out in Pakistani army due to that, then why he is releasing it now?Why he kept it secret all these months and what was the need now to expose Ambassador Haqqani?
I think for this one must know more about Mansoor Ijaz.His father was one of those Nuclear engineers who fashioned early Nukes of USA.Mansoor himself qualified as a Nuclear Physicist from Cal tech.But he founded and chaired Crescent Investment Management LLC in 1991, an entirely a new genre.Who provided the seed money for this venture that he could appoint Lt.Gen James Alan Abrahamson (USAF RTD), a former director of President Reagan’s star wars programme and also James Woolsey (Director CIA RTD) to his board.The focus of his company was high technology,telecommunications,oil and gas investments and infrastructure development.
Prince Alfred von Liechtenstein was also on the advisory board and this shows that black money and Hawala transactions of the subcontinent must be also his forte.All those Big fat cats of sub continent from Politics, Business, Media etc etc who have their ill gotten wealth stashed away in Liechtenstein will be known to Mansoor Ijaz. A powerful tool for blackmail and doing their bidding especially as their career in Politics becomes untenable in case of exposure.
Another interesting thing is that Mansoor IJaz is also one of the directors in a company registered in Isle of Man called Crescent Hydropolis resorts LLC which has also German connection.This company has under sea resorts built in Dubai,Monaco,Las vegas and Oman.All areas where the Super rich of the third world squander their wealth along with Super rich of the west.
StratCom International, a firm headed by Lt Gen James Abrahamson, the first director of the US Star Wars programme, was seeking India's partnership in the stratospheric airship project for its expertise in vehicle design, payloads and control systems.Though the Airship developed for USA will hover at 70,000 feet high above the civilian air traffic and had ballistic missile sensor , interceptor platforms (Metal storms Ltd developed)and in effect an AWACS.But the Indian offer was for a platform at 50,000 feet to monitor LOC and LAC of Indo/Pakistan and Indoa/china border.ISRO’s Amtrix and Devas deal in which it sold S band to Devas comes to my mind at this juncture.
Mnasoor Ijaz has strong Turkish business connection and they jointly bid for Pakistan PTCL privatisation cake but ultimately won by UAE based EITLISAT .
Mansoor tried to make Pakistan government to recognise Israel when Benazir was ruling and again when General Musharaff was having his Military dictatoship. Both the times he could not succeed.But he did succeed in making Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee to meet General Musharaff at Agra inspite of his Kargil Mis adventure and taking over as Dictator from Nawaz Sheriff. Mansoor being an Ahmediya was not much respected in Pakistani Army circles. But he had the ear of Musharaff. He also had the ear of Vajpayee shows the tremendous clout he had with US government and also amongst Indian Business class who support right wing BJP.
The Memogate is lapped up by the Pakistani people as a betrayal of their country and Armed forces but none seem to think it could be a CIA job as was the Gulf of Tonkin,Iraq WMD or the recent Saudi ambassador assassination attempt by Iran. Everybody seem to think it could be a Zardari job in which Haqqani was made the fall guy.
With American business interests entering big way into Indian privatisation as also Indian Arms purchases, the Military Industrial complex of Americans have a vested interest to exploit the Indian Democratic system which has many cracks in the form of regional parties who show rare interest in Global issues and Military matters.
The recent Koodankulam agitation against a Nuke plant being built by Russians by villagers who are guided by foreign vested interests, the concerted effort against Indian Home Minister P.Chidambaram( one of the best we had in recent times),the closure of Bhopal tragedy cases against the DOW chemical and the various other ways the western nations benefit at the expense of ordinary Indians are all related to these types of operatives like Mansoor Ijaz who use every tool in their kitty to get their way especially blackmail involving foreign accounts of Indians .Indian scientists from ISRO,DRDO,AEC etc must be warned about these operatives and they normally use SEMINARS in 5 star hotels to trap our lowly paid Scientists and Bureaucrats.Every one in Indian strategic community who deal with any foreigner for that matter must be given instructions about these sophisticated operatives.

In Awe of Pakistani Ladies

    
                  I think it was Kushwant Singh who said that whenever he went to Pakistan ladies colleges as guest lecturer he has to really search  for an ugly face while in Indian Girls’ colleges it is the other way around when one rarely saw a pretty face. This created a small furore at that time and being a Madrasi from south it was blasphemy; as for me every north Indian girl looked like apsaras in the streets of Delhi’s Karol bagh. Any how I have never met or interacted with a Pakistani lady except may be during 1971 war when I saw some East  Pakistani refugee women. One common thread I see in all of them is the COURAGE AND HONESTY in tackling issues
concerning Pakistan.
    The subject of Pakistani ladies cannot start without Mohtramma Benazir Bhutto.She knew all along that she will be the target of attack by the establishment but she had that one singular quality COURAGE which even today not exhibited by Military man General Musharaff or MQM chief Altaf Bhai. She could have easily gone back when she survived such a massive first attack but she believed in Pakistani people and almighty Allah and stayed on.
  Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, an American of Pakistani Origin neuro scientist, was convicted by a US Military court for the attempted assault and killing of U.S. personnel in Afghanistan. Must have required lot of courage and ingenuity.

What we see here is the emergence of young new thinking Pakistani ladies who have to show much more courage than our Indian ladies just to survive and voice their opinions. They are doing it without fear and in their own way.All of them are fiercely Pakistani patriots but they are also eager to see TRUTH and explore.I only wish our youth in India interact with them instead of CIA agents from America who mask as Indians and foul mouth venom with Indian names and glorify anything Indian ..These ladies will respect Truth and Honesty from Indians therein lies future of Indo-Pakistan peace which is now held hostage by Pakistani Army and Civil Society fed on brain washed Mullahs. The Americans are desperately trying to win this constituency as their traditional supporters from Pakistani Army General HQ is no more that popular in Pakistan after they sold to Americans on the Raymond Davies affair.  Indians must also remember that there are 1200 females in Pakistan for 1000 males while due to our killing of girl child in womb we have a ratio of 850 females to 1000 males and so we lag behind Pakistan in this Human development Index. These young Pakistani ladies are the future mothers of Pakistan and all south Asians know what role these Mothers play in the life of their sons. So our educated youth should reach out to these Pakistani ladies with TRUTH and Honesty instead of that proud crap that we are functioning democracy, our growth rate is 10% and our software professionals are ruling Silicon valley etc etc.Therein lies peace in the sub continent of future.

The underlying Fanaticism involved in the nuclearisation of Pakistan must awaken our so called seminarians who follow the lead of western think tanks.

As an Indian Christian i had this admiration for Israeli David who felled the giant Palestinian fighter Goliath with his catapult. So when Indian government favored the Palestinian state over Israel I used to be emotionally aligned with Israel till i read the Arnold Toynbee's article about the history of Israeli/Palestinian conflict which explained the injustice done to Palestinians very lucidly.Still the Munich Olympics,Laila khalid hijacking of 3 planes and burning them in desert of Jordan,Black September and Entree raid all were moulding opinion of Indians like me.
Thousands of Arabs , ranging from wealthy ABSENTEE land lords to fellahin small holders sold land to Zionist organizations during British rule.Many sold land for money while many sold land to improve their life amongst their clans.Many Arabs also collaborated with Zionists due to their intense hatred for Amin al_Husayani whose role is very important in Palestinian history.His role as Grand Mufti of Al haqsa Mosque, collaboration with Nazi Germany and so many other activities at that time are folklore of Palestinians.Many could not fathom his rejection of white paper of 1939 in the Balfour Declaration which promised Jewish Homeland along with Palestinian Arab majority rule and independence.

On 15 May 1948, the British Mandate officially expired and, in an official cablegram, the seven member Arab League, including Lebanon, publicly proclaimed their aim of creating a democratic "United State of Palestine" in place of the two-state solution proposed by the United Nations. The League soon entered the conflict on the side of the Palestinian Arabs, thus beginning the international phase of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Transjordan, and Iraq declared war on the new state of Israel. They expected an easy and quick victory in what came to be called the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. The Lebanon army joined the other Arab armies in the invasion. It crossed into the northern Galilee. By the end of the conflict, however, it had been repulsed by Israeli forces, which occupied South Lebanon. Israel signed armistice agreements with each of invading neighbours. The one with Lebanon was signed on 23 March 1949.As part of the agreement with Lebanon, Israel forces withdrew to the international border.
By the conclusion of that war, Israel had signed ceasefire agreements with all its Arab neighbors.As between itself and the area set aside for Arabs under the United Nations Partition Plan, Israel's territory was greatly beyond the borders allocated to it under the Plan.Out of 1.8 million Palestinians nearly 0.8 million Palestinians became refugees.The 1956 Suez canal crisis created by President Nasser of Egypt and also the 1967 Arab/Israeli war produced different borders for Israel.Israel had completed its final offensive in the Golan Heights, and a ceasefire was signed the day after. Israel had seized the Gaza Strip, the Sinai Peninsula, the West Bank of the Jordan River (including East Jerusalem), and the Golan Heights. Overall, Israel's territory grew by a factor of three, including about one million Arabs placed under Israel's direct control in the newly captured territories. Israel's strategic depth grew to at least 300 kilometers in the south, 60 kilometers in the east and 20 kilometers of extremely rugged terrain in the north, a security asset that would prove useful in the 1973 Arab-Israeli War six years later.
THE 1973 Arab-Israel war gave Arab states (and Egypt in particular), healing of their the psychological trauma of their defeat in the Six-Day War .In many ways, it allowed them to negotiate with the Israelis with some honour. However, given that the war had started about as well as the Arab leaders could have wanted, at the end they had made only limited territorial gains in the Sinai front, while Israel gained more territory on the Golan Heights than it held before the war; also given the fact that Israel managed to gain a foothold on African soil west of the canal, the war helped convince many in the Arab World that Israel could not be defeated militarily, thereby strengthening peace movements. The war effectively ended the old Arab ambition of destroying Israel by force especially after the separate treaty of peace with EGYPT.
What one sees from the beginning of Palestinian /Israel conflict in the modern times is that OF A VICIOUS CYCLE
1.A deal is offered to Palestinians and Arabs.
2.they reject the deal offered by international community as they find it unjust from their point of view.
3.They go to war or indulge in guerrilla warfare.
4.They get a wallop and loose territory and now ask for the the very deal offered by the International community in the first place.Now Israel rejects their demand as it has gained TERRITORY.
5.Palestinians vow revenge and continue their fight for the elimination of occupation by Israelis.
6.Again a deal is offered which is much worse than the number 1 and so the rejection by Palestinians as unjust and so the cycle continues till they loose more territory.
The Palestinians are unable to understand that now they are the suckers just like the global Jehadies for the rich playboy Arabs who wear black goggles,have American wives,play golf in Texas ranch but also fund them so that they slog,build homes,grow food and get ready to fight for the next round of sacrifice for MUSLIM UMMA.
This suits the Permanent five of UN also.
My Air-India pilot friends used to say that a layover in Beirut used to be heaven and it used to be called the
Switzerland of east. They used to say that it is the Palestinians who are the brainy hardworking lot and who slog and do all the work while it is owned by Saudies . Lebanon had a peculiar political setup with Muslims,Maronite's,Druzes all having an equal say in the governance just like Jammu Hindus and Srinagar Muslims used to have equal say in the governance of Kashmir kingdom. But then Terrorism of Muslim Umma and the folly of joining 1948 Arab/Israeli war killed its uniqueness.
GEORGE HABBASH of the Popular front for liberation of Palestine was more dreaded by Israelis than even Fatah for its uniqueness in fighting and its secular following. But then Saudies have to intervene with wink from USA/UK and they supported Arafat and his Fatah through which the secular appeal of Palestinian resistance was changed to one of MUSLIM UMMA's resistance.
Today as Israel pulverises Gaza the MUSLIM UMMA IS DOING THE FOLLOWING.
1. Saudi Arabia , the richest nation and so called protector of two of Islam's holy sites is blaming Hamas for the conflict. Saudies never acknowledge their own role in the scuttling of a reasonable deal between Arafat and Ekud Barack which is the at the root cause of the present conflict.Iran continues to be their main enemy.
2.Pakistan the only Islamic Nuke power and the second largest Muslim nation whose General Zia-ul-haq killed Palestinians in aid of King Hussein of Jordan will not send its troops or its nukes. (It sends troops for Jundollah or LET).It threatens India with first strike of Nukes but not Israel. It even organized a demonstration in support of Hamas in Kashmir and even in India!!!!
3. Indonesia and Bangladesh also are organizing demonstrations.
4.Iran which is the main sponsor of Hamas is afraid of US power and can give only verbal support through its President as it fears it can be attacked by US itself in the guise of Nuclear ambition( a false reason)
5.The only Arab nation which can be of any help is Egypt and it has closed its Rafah border even for refugees and
humanitarian help.
So the Palestinians continue to bleed.
SOON THE UN SECURITY COUNCIL WILL ORDER CEASEFIRE WHICH WILL STOP HAMAS ROCKETS ALONG WITH ISRAEL WITHDRAWAL BUT BY THEN THE CYCLE WHICH I MENTIONED EARLIER WILL REPEAT ITSELF.
IT IS FOR PALESTINIANS TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IS THEIR SITUATION AND DECIDE THEIR FUTURE.

Open letter from an Israeli to his Arab neighbor in Gaza
Dear neighbor,

My name is David and I live in Israel, thirty minutes (or one minute rocket time) from you, in a beautiful house by the woods. I hope someday to have you over for a cup of tea. We have a lovely view from the balcony. On a clear day we can see our jets bombing your neighborhood.

I think it’s time we had a heart to heart. It’s time you knew the
truth. After all, what are neighbors for? You might have wondered why both you and your parents were born in a refugee camp. Why is it that even though we live only 30 minutes apart, I live in prosperity and you live in poverty and filth? Why you live in despair and hatred while we live in hope and love.

Here is the truth, neighbor:

There really was a Holocaust. I realize you’v e been taught otherwise. I know, that ever since you were a small child you’ve been told that the Holocaust is something the Jews fabricated to justify taking your land. Well, dear citizen of Gaza, it really happened. Not very long ago. It happened. And guess what? It’s NEVER going to happen again. The time in history when Jews were led to slaughter, persecuted, raped and pillaged is over and will never recur. Never. Now we have our own country. Now we have the bombs. We will never forget what was done to our people and you better not either.

We don’t hate you. We don’t hate anyone. Jews are a peaceful people. We do not want your land. We don’t want oil. We don’t want to rape your women or murder your children. We never tried to force our religion on anyone. Our eternal capital, Jerusalem, is open to all faiths to love and to worship. We treat your Arab brothers who live among us as equals. Our hand has been extended to peace with our neighbors since day one. We have proven this time and time again through numerous negotiations and extensive compromise.

We ask only for one thing. Leave us in peace. That’s right. We have no other demands. Just leave us in peace. It’s as simple as that. If you don’t, we will fight back ferociously and mercilessly. We will destroy your homes and your cities. We will make your miserable lives even more miserable. If you don’t want this to happen any more, leave us in peace.

Our soldiers are not motivated by hate but by determination. We embrace life and will do anything to preserve it. However, we will kill and die to protect our land and our way of life. That’s what they should be teaching in your schools instead of useless lies.

A terrorist is a terrorist. Sorry to be the one to break the news, but it’s about time somebody told you that a terrorist is nothing more than a coward. Not a hero. Not a Shahid. There is nothing heroic in blowing yourself up amongst a crowd of woman and children. Anybody can do it. Anybody can hide inside a school or a mosque and blindly fire rockets into cities, hoping to kill as many babies as possible. There is nothing courageous or admirable in these acts of cruelty. To take pride in an act of terror is pitiful and pathetic. I know you’ve been raised to believe the contrary, but it is a lie. I have seen how your children are taught to commit suicide. How your suicide bombers are glorified. This is tragically sad. A real hero faces his enemy and doesn’t hide in schools and hospitals. A real hero protects his people and will die for them but not among them.

Israel exists and it belongs to the Jewish People. I’ve seen your school books. I know that Israel has been omitted from your maps. Contrary to what you’ve been told, the State of Israel really does exist. Look outside your window. We are here and we are not going anywhere. Dear Palestinian neighbor, it’s time to deal with the facts. We love our beautiful little country. We will protect it with our lives. You are not getting it. This was explained to you in 1948. You got your country and we got ours. Your arrogant and stupid leaders promised you that you will get the whole thing. Thousands have lives have been lost for nothing. It’s NEVER going to happen! While you have been foolishly drooling over our land instead of nurturing your own, we have built one of the most beautiful and successful countries on Earth. We have done it not to spite our greedy neighbors, but rather in spite of them. We’ve planted forests and quenched the desert. We’ve drained wetlands and culivated fields. We built universities, opera houses, superhighways, hospitals, skyscrapers and stadiums. We have millions of refugees, but no refugee camps.

You could do the same. Focus on what you have and not on what you will never have. It takes love, hard work and determination. We can help. We have experts and scientists helping developing nations across the globe. Accept the facts, lay down your weapons and join us in making this great region of the planet even greater.

After taking this oath of allegiance, these Desies feel guilty. In spite of being in the highest of social status by virtue of their EARNING POWER, these DESI'S suddenly find they do NOT have the RESPECT in their new motherland which a white-man gets. Once in a year visit to home country gives them the ego trip of a well earning successful Man. But they hate the dirtiness of Indian ,Pakistani,Bangladeshi hotel rooms, railways,airports and what not. They do not get running water to which they are used to and find the "Indian belly" afflicting them in spite of their Origin! They hate all Politicians like the Lalus,Mayavathies, Karunanidhies,Begums Hasina and Khalida ,Zardari and Sheriffs.

But what they lack in their home country, they get a lot in their motherland of origin or even birth in some cases ; RESPECT due to money as well as proximity to ruling powers which this money brings to them. So they manipulate to gain DUAL CITIZENSHIP while some years back they just used to be happy in exploiting the AIR INDIA,PIA AND BANGLADESH BI-MAN to get seat up gradation,free layover in New york before they go to their home states in America. The globalisation of Economy has given them the opportunity to exploit the powers to be in their country of origin to change its policies for the benefit of America/UK.

The Americans of Indian origin have a more specific role in India

1.Get the Indian government to sign the 123 agreement at all cost

2.Buy the Defence equipment from America by cutting the red tape like the buying of mothballed USS TRENTON. Of course they have to expose the corruption which made the Indian navy to buy the Groshkov in the first place and also other purchases from Russian sources.

3.Get into CII/ASSOCHAM /FICCI so that these Indian Business worthies will learn how to sell the national interest of India

as they may not even know what is in their own business interest like investing in Vietnam,Myanmar,Indonesia

4.Create a fear about the Chinese and China due to the enormous progress so far made by them due to their communist ideology in infrastructure and manufacturing and also about Pakistan and its Jehadies who destroyed Indian temples thousands of year back and forcibly converted the local Hindus.

5.Make heroes of Americans of Indian origin achievement as if it is the achievement of India like that of Kalpana chawla,Sunitha williams,Indira Nooyi,Lakshmi Mittal , BobbyJindal etc. Naturally this has to correspond with putting down the Indian big cats who are not famous for their philanthropy.

6.Put down every part of Indian state by pointing out CORRUPTION in Politics,police,judiciary,government etc while praising Indian armed forces so that an Indian Musharaff may come out of nowhere.



The Americans/Britishers of Bangladeshi origin have a specific role

1. To denigrate the two Begums and their wards for all the ills of Bangladesh

2. To blame India for all imaginary crisis including cyclone sidr or even a boat tragedy or floods or draught.

3.Denigrate Tagore and his aristocratic origin as anything Leftist is always welcome in both Bengals

4. To get the big cats of Bangladesh to sell their coal or gas to western conglomerates

5. Somehow delay or close the case of collaborators of 1971 war who were given asylum in USA especially the religious leaders of Al-Badr,Razakkars, and jamaat-i-islami

6. To try and raise the issue of United Bengal as red herring



The Americans / Britishers of Pakistani origin have always played their role due to

the History of the subcontinent, partition and of course membership of SEATO/CENTO .The close relationship which the US/UK governments developed with Pakistani defence forces and intelligence due to the cold war which continues and will continue.
