TWO SPEECHES AND WHAT 66 YEARS OF HISTORY IS SHOWING TODAY?

When Indian and Pakistani independence days were celebrated, I became curious about the speeches made by the founding fathers of the two nations. As an Indian  one is more interested in Pandit Jawaharlal Nehrus speech "Tryst with destiny" but I also got curiouser about the speech made by Quiad - e- Azam of Pakistan Mohamed Ali Jinnah.I have reproduced both the speeches in full below and a reader can form his own conclusions.
Panditji talks from heart and seems like a historian talking about the even creating history. But for him Gandhiji is the "architect of freedom", "father of nation" etc etc and people of India come second. For him partition is "ill fortune" and " and calls Pakistanis " who cannot share our freedom". showing how the leadership of India is not able to digest the truth of partition and creation of Pakistan.
Now coming to Mr.Jinnahs speech one can see he is planning for future like writing the constituion, creation of an Assembly, and he finds the very creation of Pakistan as an astounding event unparalleled in history. For him the first duty of the government is law and order, second is abolition of corruption and next comes  abolition of black marketing. Then abolition of "nepotism" and "jobbery".  Though he concedes that "partition' was not agreeable to many, it is a fact now. But to me the single important aspect of his workmanlike speech is the following lesson which is relevant even today and be also in future. I quote him "We should begin to work in that spirit and in course of time all these angularities of the majority and minority communities, the Hindu community and the Muslim community, because even as regards Muslims you have Pathans, Punjabis, Shias, Sunnis and so on, and among the Hindus you have Brahmins, Vashnavas, Khatris, also Bengalis, Madrasis and so on, will vanish. Indeed if you ask me, this has been the biggest hindrance in the way of India to attain the freedom and independence and but for this we would have been free people long long ago. No power can hold another nation, and specially a nation of 400 million souls in subjection; nobody could have conquered you, and even if it had happened, nobody could have continued its hold on you for any length of time, but for this. Therefore, we must learn a lesson from this."
So as the routine celebrations are over, I only hope the people of India and Pakistan read the speeches of their leaders and see how far we have come to their historical vision.

Speech On the Granting of Indian Independence,  August 14, 1947

I
Long years ago we made a tryst with destiny, and now the time comes when we shall redeem our pledge, not wholly or in full measure, but very substantially. At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom. A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new, when an age ends, and when the soul of a nation, long supressed, finds utterance. It is fitting that at this solemn moment we take the pledge of dedication to the service of Inida and her people and to the still larger cause of humanity.
At the dawn of history India started on her unending quest, and trackless centuries are filled with her striving and the grandeur of her success and her failures. Through good and ill fortune alike she has never lost sight of that quest or forgotten the ideals which gave her strength. We end today a period of ill fortune and India discovers herself again. The achievement we celebrate today is but a step, an opening of opportunity, to the greater triumphs and achievements that await us. Are we brave enough and wise enough to grasp this opportunity and accept the challenge of the future?
Freedom and power bring responsibility. The responsibility rests upon this Assembly, a sovereign body representing the sovereign people of India. Before the birth of freedom we have endured all the pains of labour and our hearts are heavy with the memory of this sorrow. Some of those pains continue even now. Nevertheless, the past is over and it is the future that beckons to us now.
That future is not one of ease or resting but of incessant striving so that we may fulfil the pledges we have so often taken and the one we shall take today. The service of India means the service of the millions who suffer. It means the ending of poverty and ignorance and disease and inequality of opportunity. The ambition of the greatest man of our generation has been to wipe every tear from every eye. That may be beyond us, but as long as there are tears and suffering, so long our work will not be over.
And so we have to labour and to work, and work hard, to give reality to our dreams. Those dreams are for India, but they are also for the world, for all the nations and peoples are too closely knit together today for any one of them to imagine that it can live apart Peace has been said to be indivisible; so is freedom, so is prosperity now, and so also is disaster in this One World that can no longer be split into isolated fragments.
To the people of India, whose representatives we are, we make an appeal to join us with faith and confidence in this great adventure. This is no time for petty and destructive criticism, no time for ill-will or blaming others. We have to build the noble mansion of free India where all her children may dwell.
II
The appointed day has come-the day appointed by destiny-and India stands forth again, after long slumber and struggle, awake, vital, free and independent. The past clings on to us still in some measure and we have to do much before we redeem the pledges we have so often taken. Yet the turning-point is past, and history begins anew for us, the history which we shall live and act and others will write about.
It is a fateful moment for us in India, for all Asia and for the world. A new star rises, the star of freedom in the East, a new hope comes into being, a vision long cherished materializes. May the star never set and that hope never be betrayed!
We rejoice in that freedom, even though clouds surround us, and many of our people are sorrow stricken and difficult problems encompass us. But freedom brings responsibilities and burdens and we have to face them in the spirit of a free and disciplined people.
On this day our first thoughts go to the architect of this freedom, the Father of our Nation [Gandhi], who, embodying the old spirit of India, held aloft the torch of freedom and lighted up the darkness that surrounded us. We have often been unworthy followers of his and have strayed from his message, but not only we but succeeding generations will remember this message and bear the imprint in their hearts of this great son of India, magnificent in his faith and strength and courage and humility. We shall never allow that torch of freedom to be blown out, however high the wind or stormy the tempest.
Our next thoughts must be of the unknown volunteers and soldiers of freedom who, without praise or reward, have served India even unto death.
We think also of our brothers and sisters who have been cut off from us by political boundaries and who unhappily cannot share at present in the freedom
that has come. They are of us and will remain of us whatever may happen, and we shall be sharers in their good [or] ill fortune alike.
The future beckons to us. Whither do we go and what shall be our endeavour? To bring freedom and opportunity to the common man, to the peasants and workers of India; to fight and end poverty and ignorance and disease; to build up a prosperous, democratic and progressive nation, and to create social, economic and political institutions which will ensure justice and fullness of life to every man and woman.
We have hard work ahead. There is no resting for any one of us till we redeem our pledge in full, till we make all the people of India what destiny intended them to be. We are citizens of a great country on the verge of bold advance, and we have to live up to that high standard. All of us, to whatever religion we may belong, are equally the children of India with equal rights, privileges and obligations. We cannot encourage communalism or narrow-mindedness, for no nation can be great whose people are narrow in thought or in action.
To the nations and peoples of the world we send greetings and pledge ourselves to cooperate with them in furthering peace, freedom and democracy.
And to India, our much-loved motherland, the ancient, the eternal and the ever-new, we pay our reverent homage and we bind ourselves afresh to her service.
JAI HIND.

Mr. Jinnah's presidential address to the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan

August 11, 1947

Mr. President, Ladies and Gentlemen!
I cordially thank you, with the utmost sincerity, for the honour you have conferred upon me - the greatest honour that is possible to confer - by electing me as your first President. I also thank those leaders who have spoken in appreciation of my services and their personal references to me. I sincerely hope that with your support and your co-operation we shall make this Constituent Assembly an example to the world. The Constituent Assembly has got two main functions to perform. The first is the very onerous and responsible task of framing the future constitution of Pakistan and the second of functioning as a full and complete sovereign body as the Federal Legislature of Pakistan. We have to do the best we can in adopting a provisional constitution for the Federal Legislature of Pakistan. You know really that not only we ourselves are wondering but, I think, the whole world is wondering at this unprecedented cyclonic revolution which has brought about the clan of creating and establishing two independent sovereign Dominions in this sub-continent. As it is, it has been unprecedented; there is no parallel in the history of the world. This mighty sub-continent with all kinds of inhabitants has been brought under a plan which is titanic, unknown, unparalleled. And what is very important with regards to it is that we have achieved it peacefully and by means of an evolution of the greatest possible character.
Dealing with our first function in this Assembly, I cannot make any well-considered pronouncement at this moment, but I shall say a few things as they occur to me. The first and the foremost thing that I would like to emphasize is this: remember that you are now a sovereign legislative body and you have got all the powers. It, therefore, places on you the gravest responsibility as to how you should take your decisions. The first observation that I would like to make is this: You will no doubt agree with me that the first duty of a government is to maintain law and order, so that the life, property and religious beliefs of its subjects are fully protected by the State.
The second thing that occurs to me is this: One of the biggest curses from which India is suffering - I do not say that other countries are free from it, but, I think our condition is much worse - is bribery and corruption. That really is a poison. We must put that down with an iron hand and I hope that you will take adequate measures as soon as it is possible for this Assembly to do so.
Black-marketing is another curse. Well, I know that blackmarketeers are frequently caught and punished. Judicial sentences are passed or sometimes fines only are imposed. Now you have to tackle this monster, which today is a colossal crime against society, in our distressed conditions, when we constantly face shortage of food and other essential commodities of life. A citizen who does black-marketing commits, I think, a greater crime than the biggest and most grievous of crimes. These blackmarketeers are really knowing, intelligent and ordinarily responsible people, and when they indulge in black-marketing, I think they ought to be very severely punished, because the entire system of control and regulation of foodstuffs and essential commodities, and cause wholesale starvation and want and even death.
The next thing that strikes me is this: Here again it is a legacy which has been passed on to us. Along with many other things, good and bad, has arrived this great evil, the evil of nepotism and jobbery. I want to make it quite clear that I shall never tolerate any kind of jobbery, nepotism or any any influence directly of indirectly brought to bear upon me. Whenever I will find that such a practice is in vogue or is continuing anywhere, low or high, I shall certainly not countenance it.
I know there are people who do not quite agree with the division of India and the partition of the Punjab and Bengal. Much has been said against it, but now that it has been accepted, it is the duty of everyone of us to loyally abide by it and honourably act according to the agreement which is now final and binding on all. But you must remember, as I have said, that this mighty revolution that has taken place is unprecedented. One can quite understand the feeling that exists between the two communities wherever one community is in majority and the other is in minority. But the question is, whether it was possible or practicable to act otherwise than what has been done, A division had to take place. On both sides, in Hindustan and Pakistan, there are sections of people who may not agree with it, who may not like it, but in my judgement there was no other solution and I am sure future history will record is verdict in favour of it. And what is more, it will be proved by actual experience as we go on that was the only solution of India's constitutional problem. Any idea of a united India could never have worked and in my judgement it would have led us to terrific disaster. Maybe that view is correct; maybe it is not; that remains to be seen. All the same, in this division it was impossible to avoid the question of minorities being in one Dominion or the other. Now that was unavoidable. There is no other solution. Now what shall we do? Now, if we want to make this great State of Pakistan happy and prosperous, we should wholly and solely concentrate on the well-being of the people, and especially of the masses and the poor. If you will work in co-operation, forgetting the past, burying the hatchet, you are bound to succeed. If you change your past and work together in a spirit that everyone of you, no matter to what community he belongs, no matter what relations he had with you in the past, no matter what is his colour, caste or creed, is first, second and last a citizen of this State with equal rights, privileges, and obligations, there will be on end to the progress you will make.
I cannot emphasize it too much. We should begin to work in that spirit and in course of time all these angularities of the majority and minority communities, the Hindu community and the Muslim community, because even as regards Muslims you have Pathans, Punjabis, Shias, Sunnis and so on, and among the Hindus you have Brahmins, Vashnavas, Khatris, also Bengalis, Madrasis and so on, will vanish. Therefore, we must learn a lesson from this. You are free; you are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques or to any other place or worship in this State of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion or caste or creed that has nothing to do with the business of the State. As you know, history shows that in England, conditions, some time ago, were much worse than those prevailing in India today. The Roman Catholics and the Protestants persecuted each other. Even now there are some States in existence where there are discriminations made and bars imposed against a particular class. Thank God, we are not starting in those days. We are starting in the days where there is no discrimination, no distinction between one community and another, no discrimination between one caste or creed and another. We are starting with this fundamental principle that we are all citizens and equal citizens of one State. The people of England in course of time had to face the realities of the situation and had to discharge the responsibilities and burdens placed upon them by the government of their country and they went through that fire step by step. Today, you might say with justice that Roman Catholics and Protestants do not exist; what exists now is that every man is a citizen, an equal citizen of Great Britain and they are all members of the Nation.
Now I think we should keep that in front of us as our ideal and you will find that in course of time Hindus would cease to be Hindus and Muslims would cease to be Muslims, not in the religious sense, because that is the personal faith of each individual, but in the political sense as citizens of the State.
Well, gentlemen, I do not wish to take up any more of your time and thank you again for the honour you have done to me. I shall always be guided by the principles of justice and fairplay without any, as is put in the political language, prejudice or ill-will, in other words, partiality or favouritism. My guiding principle will be justice and complete impartiality, and I am sure that with your support and co-operation, I can look forward to Pakistan becoming one of the greatest nations of the world.
I have received a message from the United States of America addressed to me. It reads:
I have the honour to communicate to you, in Your Excellency's capacity as President of the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan, the following message which I have just received from the Secretary of State of the United States:
On the occasion of of the first meeting of the Constituent Assembly for Pakistan, I extend to you and to the members of the Assembly, the best wishes of the Government and the people of the United States for the successful conclusion of the great work you are about to undertake.

Strategic Defiance of Pakistan ;What India can do?

Strategic Defiance of Pakistan/ What can India do?

When the Senate of Pakistan passed the 14 point plan(40 Point sub plan), many thought it will be a sort of white wash to open the NATO supply route and give fig leaf
to the ruling establishment  for getting some green packs. What came out of the exercise which was started on November 2011 by the Defence committee of the Cabinet (DCC) and also
by the Parliamentary committee on National Security (PCNS) which was also whetted by the Defence,Foreign affairs,Law,Finance Ministry bureaucrats of the Government and finally was placed before the Pakistani Parliament was a show of Defiance by Pakistan to USA. Senator Prof Kurshid Ahmed did not approve of the final recommendations though he signed the draft. The PCNS consisted of the following members.

1. Senator Miam Raza Rahhaai. Chairman
2. Senator Dr. Zaheer-ud«Di|1 Bahar Awa1| Member
3. Mr. Nadeem Afzal Condal, MHP; Member
4. Senator Mohammad lshaq Dar Member
5. Sardar Mehtah Ahmad Khan,  Member
ü. Senator Wasim Sajjad Member
T. Syed Haider àbhas Rizvì, MNA Member
E. Mr. Asfaadyar Wali Khan, MNA Member
9. Meulana Faza1¿ur-Rahman, MNà Member

12. Mr.  Ahmad Khan Sherpae, MNA Member
13. Senator Abdur Rahim Khan Mandbkhel Member
14. Senator lsrarnllah Zebri, Member
15. Senater Shahid Hassan Bugti Member
lń. Senator Afrasiyab Khattak Member

The most important directive is that the Foreign policy of Pakistan be conducted as per
the principles of an independent foreign policy to be grounded in Strict adherence
to the Principles of Policy as Stated in Article 40 of the Constitution
of Pakistan, the UN Charter and observance of international law.
Pakistans'nuclear programme  and assets including iTs safety and
security’ cannot be compromised. The US-Indo civil nuclear agreement has significantly altered the strategic balance in the region therefore Pakistan should seek from the US and NSG similar agreement. The strategic position of Pakistan
Vis-à-vis India  on the .subject of FMCT must not he compromised
and this principle be kept in View in negotiations on this matter with USA.
Use of Pakistani Airspace and Military bases will now require Parliamentary approval
and not the approval of the ruling Government establishment. No verbal agreement with any foreign power should be made and they must be reduced in writing if at all made.
The territory of Pakistan shall never be used to stage attacks on any other country and all foreign fighters shall be sent away and expelled.
The focus of Pakistan’s foreign policy should be peaceful environment in its neighbourhood which includes India and Afghanistan; economic progress and social progress should be the main focus.
While maintaining traditional link with allies ; the country is directed to diversify its source of economic, military and political support. To implement this policy the country is directed to engage India in a continuous process which is result oriented which will have the final solution of Kashmir as per UN principles. While strategic partnership with China should be deepened, further strengthening of relationship with Russia and also getting permanent membership of SCO should be prioritised.

I think the biggest significance of the new emerging China/Russia partnership , may be that it establishes an obstacle to western monopoly and protects the rights of the non-westrn world, including the independence of the national interests and diversity of political systems.
ASEAN must be another area of priority for both.

The Iran/Pakistan Gas pipeline project should be actively pursued.
The process of evolving this 14 point plan a long drawn out one and the ministries involved and then the main points makes it an interesting document which has wide acceptance in Pakistani society including the fringe elements. Was it a strategic defiance or a “chaal” in the poker game. The Americans have already acting as the deal to be countered with their own moves and concessions which can be extracted from the sucker India in the form of Siachen withdrawal without AGPL.This withdrawal is linked to NATO supply line reopening and so the urgency shown by Pakistani Army and Hillary Clinton. But the patriotic Indian Army is already showing signs of defiance in the face of American pressure.
With regard to Afghanistan, what India can do to calm the Pakistani nerves.I think the hearts and minds of ordinary Afghans are the best answer to that.
With regard to Kashmir, the American fox is laying the line of independent Kashmir which has wide acceptance amongst all sections of Muslim society both sides of the LOC but not liked by the Budhists of Ladakh and Hindus of Jammu.
I think India and Pakistan can jointly enter SCO and also ASEAN.
With regard to nukes India has not gained but lost only the friendship of Iran. If Pakistan wants same type of relationship, India has not objection as long its own independent deterrence is protected.

Two Nuclear Monkeys and an American fox

Americans know that computer modelling cannot replace actual testing for ensuring upkeep of existing nuke stocks nor for making more robust nukes which may have to destroy deep cave nuclear resistant bunkers. The nukes are for deterrence and the only assurance that they will work is to test them so that the enemies know.
The North Korean underground test was NOT detected by sophisticated satellite imagery, or by sophisticated nuke discovering stations located in USA, China, Russia,Japan or even by South Korea. The noble gases were not detected. It is a Canadian radionuclide station which
detected the Xenon gas.But the North Koreans were not happy because USA will just not accept that they have conducted a test which is meant for deterrence of enemy which in their eyes is USA. Now those who want to cheat can use decoupling the nukes before testing to reduce the seismic signal.China,USA,India,Pakistan,Egypt,Indonesia,Iran,Israel and North Korea have not signed the NPT out of 44 nations which posses nuclear know how. JASONS, a nuclear think tank in US has warned that Stockpile Stewardship of existing nukes may not completely give the workable assurance of the nukes. When the personnel ,silos and other maintenance infrastructure allowed to stagnate, then the second strike capability lacks a credible deterrence to the enemies.Bunker Busters developed by Bush are being tested in Tripoli,Afghanistan and other places.
The very process of nuclear development and testing
enables a generation of experienced, proven designers and technologists; it
necessitates a working nuclear weapons infrastructure; and, it signals clearly to those
nations’ leaderships—as well as to the world—that the government from the top down
supports the maintenance of those countries’ nuclear arsenals and deterrence goals.
US shows to outside world that their nuclear and military goals are peaceful while actually it is anything but peaceful and every other nation must watch what USA does but not what it talks or preaches
Now coming to the two Nuclear Monkeys of the subcontinent. Indian leadership is told by the Seminarists who normally are connected to various American think tanks like Heritage,American Enterprise Institute,Brooklyn ,CATO etc etc that India must talk to Pakistan because it did talk to Pakistan inspite of Kargil. But now as UPA has failed , just like NDA with their old approach of talking, stop talking for a while after a terror strike, and then restart talks because Pakistan is our neighbour till the next terror strike controlled from Pakistan happens. Pakistan keeps giving assurances while the Army/Jihad complex keeps plotting for the next strike and the timing to suit its objectives. This strategy of keeping India off/balance should not be acceptable any more and India must convince the Pakistani Army/Jihad complex that there is cost attached to any strike which is controlled from Pakistan like the Mumbai 26/11, or the Indian Parliament attack. India must openly support Balochs, Sindhies etc etc as the Pakistan is doing in Kashmir,Northeast,Assam or Punjab. In short treat Pakistan openly as an enemy country. While the US government has been involved in the Headley interrogation and the Rana trial in Chicago, most of the stories about Pakistan’s perfidy in GWoT and the machinations of its military-jehadi complex have been broken by the international media. Proliferation of the internet and web technologies means that these stories are now easily available to most of the Indians. The political price an elected Indian government has to pay must now decide future of India/Pakistan talks and the cost which India should inflict on Pakistan for their low cost Jihad.
So why not test the Paksitani nuclear first strike thres -hold by striking at the 57 Terrorist training camps in Pakistan along with houses of Hafeez Saeed and Dawood Ibrahim and the fake currency printing press.. Will this trigger the Pakistani nukes to be armed? So goes the argument of the western backed Seminarists.
Ofcourse the Pakistani state controlled by Military /Jihad complex from the time of General Zia-ul-Haq to Musharaff does not need any education in hating India or testing the socalled the thresehold of Indian nukes as they know everything depends on the Political leadership and that especially now is under the control of Americans. The Jihad complex is remotely controlled from Saudi arabia through ISI, Dubai,Dacca, and the location is revealed as per needs. Once a major terror strike like the one in 26/11 is organised and casualties are ensured then the Indian public opinion will be conditioned to pressurise Indian Political leadership to do something. I think the present Mumbai attack is one such pin prick and many more are likely to take place as per the preparation of the Jihadies and their handlers.I expect one in Delhi,Bangalore and even in Tamilnadu and West Bengal.
The assesment by US/Russia about a dirty bomb attack is published and it says
“”The assessment examines potential terrorist pathways to a nuclear attack, among them buying or stealing an existing weapon, or getting highly enriched uranium or plutonium and fashioning a crude nuclear bomb of their own, which the study warns is distressingly plausible.
All stocks of nuclear weapons, highly enriched uranium, and plutonium must be protected against all plausible terrorist and criminal threats, and the number of locations where these stocks exist must be reduced as much as practicable.
Coordinated U.S.-Russian leadership is vital for this international effort because the two countries hold the largest nuclear stockpiles and are most experienced in dealing with nuclear security. This joint effort should promote and support enhanced intelligence and law enforcement by the United Nations, the International Atomic Energy Agency, and international police organizations.”””
Meanwhile the Americans with leadership help from Australia have launched Asia pacific Leadership Network for Nuclear Disarmament and non/proliferation.General Karamat and Murshid Hassan from Pakistan are supplemented by Jaswant Singh of BJP and Mr.Man singh, ex Indian Chief de mission in Washington are assisted by two high profile diplomats from China and 30 others from Japan,Korea,Indonesia,Singapore,Malaysia etc.led by the Australians.
While defanging of Pakistan is the immediate goal, it follows that Indian and North Korean nukes are also on priority list. China will play a significant role in the defangment of south asia and North Korea as it knows its neighbourhood should be nuclear free zone for its own security.
What role USA has assigned Russia and China in this defanging is not clear but their national security interests converge in this is apparent.
So a small skirmish along Indo/Pak border will suit the trio but how the Jihad complex functions under their handlers will decide the scale of this skirmish and also the forcible nuke elimination of both countries
Clinton is bringing with her Nuclear experts who I think are going to assess the Kalpakkam Indian nuclear complex which is housing the fast breeder and also the Military Nuclear complex which is not in the list of entities which India will throw open to IAEA inspection. India must watch the actions of western powers but not their slogans if it genuinely wants to be a world power.

The first priority in the above certification given by Hillary to the Congress shows the priority and national interest of USA. Indians must not be carried away by the Media controlled frenzy and look at actions of USA carefully.

Osama Betrayal/ Will India be asked to pay the Price

 OSAMA BETRAYAL

Now that Osama was eliminated by US Navy seals inside Pakistan ,some hard questions face India. The recent visit of Kiyani to Abbotobad, ISI Chief Pasha’s visit to USA to meet with Panetta (without being arrested in spite of Rana trial in Chicago) and of course Kiyani’s meeting in Bahrain with Admiral Mike Mullen and Pakistan Fauzi foundation being allowed to recruit Baloachs for Bahrain national guard. The covert help provided by ISI with nod from Gillani in releasing  CIA man Raymond Davies through courts. What is the reward Pakistan Army extracted for betraying Osama is the question Indian policy makers should ponder as it involves second term for Obama.
The secret contact which Mr.Man Mohan singh had with Kiyani through special interlocutors which led to Gillani meeting him at Chandigarh also must have weighed in the mind of Service chiefs of India. Did the Indian PMO ask the Indian Army to vacate Siachen? The pressure on Indian Air force chief to select one of the American planes for the MMRCA contract must have been a red rag for him as he had very bitter experience in dealing with arrogance of Americans after the C5 purchase and usage of its avionics that Air force decided to fore go altogether the avionics pod of C5. In the guise of end user agreement, Americans wanted to have complete control over Indian air force and its usage. The clout they wielded in Indian Political circles showed to the Service chiefs, it is also  time to show Indian Politicians where the lakshman rekha is drawn.
Arabs/Yemenies consider South asian men  as of inferior breed that they are even allowed to see the face and escort unmarried Saudi girls. The 9/11 operation was given exclusively to saudies  though planned and executed by Khalid shiekh Mohamed. After General Musharaff betrayed the Taliban  due to President Bush’s threat should have warned Osama that anything can happen to him from the south asians but he believed may be in the inner circle of GHQ which dealt with Pakistan’s nuclear policy which also provided security to High value Arabs who continue to stay in Pakistan due to marriage and medical reasons after Afghan operation.  Gen Kiyani is not Gadaffi or even Iran’s leader and he is just like Gen Musharaff.
The spate of writeups by western inspired media and think tanks in India and the statements coming from Indian politcos blaming Pakistan for harbouring Osama  shows the deeper game of
Pakistan/American alliance. It wants the betrayal to be hidden so that Alquaeda backlash doesnot happen in Pakistan as in the case of TTP after killing of Baitullah Mehsud wherein Pakistan Army provided the GPS coordinates of his father in law’s house.
Siachen, Sircreek and complete control of Afghan policy after withdrawal of Americans is the price India may be asked to pay by the Americans. The Abbotobad operation might have been carried out by US seals but it had covert Pakistani help in the form of providing exact location of Osama, complete blackout of the city during the raid, asking civilians to stay indoor just before the operation. The Fixed wing aircraft which was flying over the ops area and giving AWACS support could not be without Pakistan’s consent. The airbase from where these seals took off in 4 helicopters was inside Pakistan as per many Pakistani mediamen. The whole operation took 2 hours inside Pakistan and not 40 Mts as claimed.
The Gates,Patreus removal and also Hillary clinton giving a vague tip off during May 2010 about Osama living in Pakistan show Obama was desperate to have this action carried out before the election and also before it got leaked out to Jewish lobby in America. The Times square and Ground zero celebrations by youth of America show Obama’s second term is assured,
The question is whether India will be asked to pay the price for Osama betrayal in form of Siachen and also change in India’s  Afghan policy. The booting out of American planes from  MMRCA contract shows that Indian Service chiefs are also incorruptible  and it will be difficult for Pro American Politicians in Indian cabinet to sell this line to Indian people with help from Indian media and Indian opposition.

In Awe of Pakistani Ladies

I think it was Kushwant Singh who said that whenever he went to Pakistan ladies colleges as guest lecturer he has to really search  for an ugly face while in Indian Girls’ colleges it is the other way around when one rarely saw a pretty face. This created a small furore at that time and being a Madrasi from south it was blasphemy; as for me every north Indian girl looked like apsaras in the streets of Delhi’s Karol bagh. Any how I have never met or interacted with a Pakistani lady except may be during 1971 war when I saw some East  Pakistani refugee women. Now when I comment, posted blogs in Pakistani spectator, I was also able to read some brilliant blogs, comments by Pakistani ladies.like Ghazala Khan(Blogs  herePakistani spectator), Amna Gilani ,Nazia,Maria ( also use the Pakspectator), Tazeen(http://tazeen-tazeen.blogspot.com)Noor hanif (blogs here http://blogs.tribune.com.pk/author/241/noor-hanif/),Mehreen Kasana (http://mehreenkasana.wordpress.com/) etc
One common thread I see in all of them is the COURAGE AND HONESTY in tackling issues
concerning Pakistan.
The subject of Pakistani ladies cannot start without Mohtramma Benazir Bhutto. She knew all along that she will be the target of attack by the establishment but she had that one singular quality COURAGE which even today not exhibited by Military man General Musharaff or MQM chief Altaf Bhai. She could have easily gone back when she survived such a massive first attack but she believed in Pakistani people and almighty Allah and stayed on.
Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, an American of Pakistani Origin neuro scientist, was convicted by a US Military court for the attempted assault and killing of U.S. personnel in Afghanistan. Must have required lot of courage and ingenuity.

What we see here is the emergence of young new thinking Pakistani ladies who have to show much more courage than our Indian ladies just to survive and voice their opinions. They are doing it without fear and in their own way.All of them are fiercely Pakistani patriots but they are also eager to see TRUTH and explore.I only wish our youth in India interact with them instead of CIA agents from America who mask as Indians and foul mouth venom with Indian names and glorify anything Indian ..These ladies will respect Truth and Honesty from Indians therein lies future of Indo-Pakistan peace which is now held hostage by Pakistani Army and Civil Society fed on brain washed Mullahs. The Americans are desperately trying to win this constituency as their traditional supporters from Pakistani Army General HQ is no more that popular in Pakistan after they sold to Americans on the Raymond Davies affair.  Indians must also remember that there are 1200 females in Pakistan for 1000 males while due to our killing of girl child in womb we have a ratio of 850 females to 1000 males and so we lag behind Pakistan in this Human development Index. These young Pakistani ladies are the future mothers of Pakistan and all south Asians know what role these Mothers play in the life of their sons. So our educated youth should reach out to these Pakistani ladies with TRUTH and Honesty instead of that proud crap that we are functioning democracy, our growth rate is 10% and our software professionals are ruling Silicon valley etc etc.Therein lies peace in the sub continent of future.
